Overview
In power systems, transformers are core equipment, so their long-term and reliable operation is directly tied to the stability and reliability of the entire system.
The DC resistance of a transformer is a mandatory test item for semi-finished products, finished product factory inspections, installation, handover tests, and preventive tests conducted by power departments during transformer manufacturing. It can effectively identify manufacturing defects such as improper coil material selection, welding faults, loose connections, missing strands, and wire breakages, as well as potential risks that emerge after operation. To meet the demand for rapid measurement of transformer DC resistance, our company has developed a Transformer DC Resistance Tester by leveraging its technical strengths. This instrument is a new-generation rapid tester integrating magnetizing method testing, three-phase testing (Yn, Y, △), and demagnetization functions, making it an ideal device for measuring the DC resistance of large power transformers. It is equipped with a true-color large-screen high-resolution LCD display, combined with touch control and a shuttle knob for convenient on-site operation. Featuring Chinese menu prompts, it enables simple and intuitive operation: all DC resistance tests can be completed with a single wiring, ensuring fast testing speed, high accuracy, and a wide measurement range.

1. High-voltage terminal block.
Connects to the high-voltage side bushing of the transformer.
2. Low-voltage terminal block.
Connects to the low-voltage side bushing of the transformer.
3. Capacitive touchscreen.
Screen size: 7.0 inches; resolution: 1024×600.
4. One-button rotary knob:
Allows operation of all instrument functions.
5. Grounding terminal.
The instrument must be reliably grounded. Field grounding points may have paint or rust; these must be thoroughly cleaned.
6. Power switch.
Turn on the power switch and wait approximately 2 seconds to power on.
7. Printer.
Prints test results.
8. USB flash drive interface.
For connecting an external USB flash drive to store test data; please use a FAT or FAT32 formatted USB flash drive; do not remove the USB flash drive during storage.
Precautions:
When testing the no-load tap changer, switching the no-load tap changer is not permitted during the test or before complete discharge.
During testing or discharge, it is not permitted to disconnect the test leads or turn off the power switch.
During transformer testing, the unmeasured windings of the transformer must be open-circuited.
